1. Acceptance
By downloading, installing or using ATC Radio Sim (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Use with Codoha Ltd. ("Codoha"), a company registered in Taiwan (R.O.C.). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Licence
Codoha grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial entertainment on Android devices you own or control. The App is licensed, not sold. You may not copy, extract, reverse engineer, redistribute or commercially exploit it except where applicable law expressly permits.
3. The Game and Online Services
The App is a voice-first air traffic control simulation game. Cloud voice play uses online speech and language services and therefore requires microphone access and network connectivity. Offline mode runs the simulation, the scoring, the training course and the handbook with no connection at all; voice control in that mode depends on your device providing a recognition service and a downloaded language pack, and where it does not, the touch and text controls still give you every command. Online features depend on compatible devices, providers and service capacity, and may change or be unavailable.
4. The Free Allowance
This release grants five cumulative hours of live-world play per installation, one time, subject to available capacity. It is an allowance rather than a promise of uninterrupted access, and it has no cash value. Only live shift time is counted; the ready room, the handbook, pause and the debrief are not. Codoha may protect the allowance against reinstall or other attempts to reset it. When it is spent the App keeps working: shifts still start and score, and the simulation, the training course and the handbook are unchanged. What stops is the live world director and freshly generated pilot speech. This release contains no advertising, requires no account and offers nothing to buy. We may change the allowance or introduce separately disclosed paid features in a future release.
5. Voice Features and Privacy
On Android the App sends a short recording of your transmission to Codoha to be transcribed, and uses the resulting text for that radio call only. Neither the recording nor the text is retained. On the web the browser speech service performs recognition and only text reaches Codoha. Offline mode keeps recognition on your device. You are responsible for obtaining consent before recording anyone else. The Privacy Policy explains processing, retention and deletion in detail.
6. Entertainment Only
The App is not real-world air traffic control software, approved aviation training or operational guidance. Do not use it to make aviation decisions, communicate with aircraft, prepare for an operational duty or replace instruction and materials from the relevant aviation authority or a certified training organisation. Game phraseology, procedures, traffic and outcomes may be simplified, fictional or incorrect.
7. Acceptable Use
Do not misuse the service, interfere with security or quotas, automate excessive requests, attempt to obtain another installation's access, upload unlawful or harmful content, or use the App in a way that infringes another person's rights. We may restrict access needed to protect the App, providers or other users.
8. Intellectual Property
The App's code, original design, branding, sounds and original content belong to Codoha or its licensors. Some aviation information and terminology may come from public-domain United States government materials or other identified sources; their inclusion does not imply endorsement by the Federal Aviation Administration or any authority. No rights are granted beyond the licence above.
9. Google Play™
If you obtain the App through Google Play™, Google is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the App. Your use of Google Play and its services is also subject to Google's terms. Codoha, not Google, is responsible for the App to the extent required by law.
10. Disclaimers
The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Codoha disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, security, non-infringement and any particular learning result. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so they apply only to the extent permitted where you live.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Codoha and its affiliates, directors, employees, suppliers and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or loss of use, data, goodwill or profits arising from the App. Codoha's aggregate liability will not exceed USD 10 or the amount you paid for the App, whichever is greater. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable.
12. Changes and Termination
We may update the App or these Terms, suspend an online feature or discontinue the service. The current Terms will be posted here with a new date. You may stop using the App at any time. We may terminate this licence if you materially breach these Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan), without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes are subject to the Hualien District Court. If mandatory consumer law where you live provides additional rights or a local forum, those protections remain available to you.
